Shapes Festival, known for bringing club culture to the Swiss Alps every spring, joins us for one night at Palais Mascotte. Two of the most respected record diggers in house music share the booth for a long back-to-back set.

ANTAL Antal Heitlager co-founded Rush Hour in Amsterdam in the late '90s. What started as a small record shop grew into a label and distributor trusted by artists from Detroit and Chicago. He has been DJing since 1996 and plays Chicago and Detroit house next to rare Afro funk, forgotten disco and boogie. You rarely know where his set is heading, and that's the beauty of it.

DANILO PLESSOW (MCDE) Danilo Plessow started playing drums at six and made his name as Motor City Drum Ensemble with the Raw Cuts series, inspired by Detroit heroes like Moodymann and Theo Parrish. His DJ-Kicks mix put Sun Ra and Tony Allen next to Mr. Fingers and Robert Hood. Behind the decks he's known for precise mixing and a record bag full of jazz, soul, disco and house.

FRANCK Franck opens the night with warm, patient grooves and gets the room ready for what follows.
