Eva Boesch (b. 1985) is a Swiss cellist, member of Ensemble Garage (since 2009) and Trio Catch (since 2013). She received a Concert Diploma from the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in 2008 after studying with Martina Schucan and a Master's degree with honors (under the direction of Maria Kliegel) from [l=Musikhochschule Köln] in 2011. Boesch also attended master classes with David Geringas, Jens Peter Maintz, Miklós Perényi, Siegfried Palm and Pieter Wispelwey. During the 2010/11 season, Eva Boesch served as a member of the International Ensemble Modern Academy in Frankfurt. She has been collaborating with a few prominent contemporary composers, such as Salvatore Sciarrino, Jonathan Harvey, and Klaus Huber. Eva participated in numerous international festivals, including [l=Warsaw Autumn], [l=Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik, Darmstadt], Lucerne Festival, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, the European Workshop for Contemporary Music, Biennale für moderne Musik Frankfurt, Acht Brücken – Musik für Köln, ISCM World New Music Days, Salzburger Biennale, and Impuls Festival Graz. Boesch won the first prize at the Koeckert-Competition (2007) in Zürich and received Boris Pergamenschikow Prize (2011) in Berlin for contemporary chamber music. She was supported by the [l=Kunststiftung NRW] and Friedl Wald Foundation in Basel.
