WHEELS OF FIRE Wheels of Fire was created in 2006 by Davide Barbieri, who is the singer of the band. He had Michele Luppi (Whitesnake) listen to some demos and a collaboration started, leading to the release of the first album “Hollywood Rocks” in 2010. The album debut was extremely successful in Europe and South America. It reached number 42 in the ranking of the well known Japanese magazine Burrn. “Up for Anything”, the second album, was released in November 2012 and the band received countless positive feedbacks with excellent reviews in some of the most important magazines in the music world, such as Fireworks and Classic Rock. Seven years later, the third album “Begin Again” was released in June 2019. During those seven years the band created their new path, hence the name Begin Again. The songs that were written by Davide and Stefano (guitarist) show the direction towards a more contemporary rock feel, all while incorporating modern elements in their sound while remaining faithful to their roots of 80’s melodic rock. Wheels of Fire has played at many concerts in the recent years and have shared the stage with great important artists such as: Jeff Scott Soto, Bonfire, Kee Marcello, Toby Hitchcock, Vega, 91 Suite, Lionville, Lipz and Danger Zone. Wheels of Fire is distinguished by vocal lines and choruses that stick in your head. They are filled with specific care for harmonies, scratchy guitar riffs and breathtaking solos that are gracefully combined with the keyboard and piano parts, along with a powerful rhythm section with bold drums and a solid bass; all topped off with a highly professional production that enhances the band’s unique personality by showing their faithfulness, deep love and respect that they have for this genre. VON ZIPPEN Von Zippen was formed in 2014 in Ticino, when Faze (vocals and piano) and Hedgehog (guitar) joined forces, soon followed by Rocco on drums and Staf on bass. After an early period of cover songs, overdriven amplifiers, and plenty of sweat, the band began writing original material in 2017. The real turning point came in 2019, when the band reinvented itself and embraced sleaze rock, drawing inspiration from acts such as Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Ratt, and L.A. Guns. The result is a raw and straightforward sound: pounding drums, a warm and driving bass, razor-sharp guitars, and choruses made to be shouted from the front row—preferably with something cold in your hand. In 2024, they released the EP Ain’t Going Down No More, led by the acoustic single Tryin’ So Hard, showcasing both their more reflective side and their unmistakably carefree spirit. This was followed in 2026 by the singles Hit’Em Backand You Have To Run Away, further strengthening a musical identity that blends sleaze rock with heavy-hitting energy. The band is now based in Zurich. Through live shows, festivals, and radio airplay, Von Zippen continue to stand by a simple idea: rock is more than just a music genre—it’s an attitude. It is life energy, a taste for intensity, and a passion for experiencing things to the fullest. In other words, rock isn’t just something you listen to… it’s something you live. Status
