When the ferry docks, the night is far from over. It moves onto land, into the Alte Kaserne, where the quiet turns loud again. The headphones are gone. Now it's one sound for all of us, loud enough to feel in your chest. It gets hard, raw and fast. The floor fills up, the sweat starts, and nobody looks at the time anymore. The calm of the water stays outside. In here, we let everything out. The people you met on the boat are still next to you. Now you dance with them until the morning comes.
