The Bern Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is located in Bern (Berne), the capital city of Switzerland. Founded in 1877 it is part of the Konzert Theater Bern, playing opera as well as symphonic concerts. Since 2010 [a439510] is chief conductor of the orchestra.
