TOY TONICS JAMS ZURICH: FIMIANI | BÁRBARA BOEING | SCHACKE99

FRIDAY, 20.11.2026 | FROM 22:00

Toy Tonics Jams returns to Palais Mascotte for another night dedicated to the irresistible sounds of modern disco, soulful house and infectious grooves. This time, we welcome two outstanding artists from the international Toy Tonics family: Italian producer and DJ FIMIANI and Brazilian selector BÁRBARA BOEING. Together with local favourite SCHACKE99, they bring a colourful musical journey through house, disco, funk, soul and Latin rhythms to the heart of Zurich.

FIMIANI

Hailing from the Italian island of Ischia, Giuseppe Fimiani is one of the standout producers and DJs of the Toy Tonics family. Formerly known as BPlan, he has developed a distinctive sound that bridges the golden era of 1990s New York house with the rich heritage of Italian disco, funk and soul.

His productions stand out for their organic warmth, infectious basslines and remarkable musicality. Rather than relying heavily on samples, FIMIANI works with live musicians to create authentic, groove-driven house music that feels both timeless and contemporary.

His acclaimed Disco Music EP became a favourite among internationally respected DJs, receiving support from the likes of Palms Trax, Folamour, Louie Vega, Horse Meat Disco, Seth Troxler and Mousse T. His Amore Latino EP further established his reputation for combining Mediterranean influences with classic house rhythms.

In 2026, FIMIANI continued his musical journey with La Isla Respira EP on Toy Tonics, exploring Latin percussion, jazz, funk and soulful melodies while staying true to his dancefloor roots. His remix of John Julius Knight's Find a Friendalso reached number one on Traxsource's Overall and House charts.

A passionate record collector and true student of dance music history, FIMIANI brings decades of musical influences together in sets that celebrate the connection between Italian disco culture, Black American music and the foundations of house.

BÁRBARA BOEING

Originally from Curitiba, Brazil, and now based in Milan, BÁRBARA BOEING is one of the most exciting selectors in contemporary dance music. Known for her adventurous musical taste, extraordinary record collection and uplifting energy behind the decks, she has built an international reputation for connecting musical cultures and generations.

With roots deeply embedded in Brazilian music, her sets move effortlessly between disco, house, funk, soul, tropicalia, Balearic sounds, Italo disco, breaks and rare Latin American discoveries. Her approach to DJing is driven by curiosity, musical storytelling and an exceptional ability to create unexpected connections between records.

After years of collecting and exploring music, she made her production debut on Toy Tonics with the five-track Brasiliana EP in 2023. The release perfectly captures her musical identity, combining Brazilian influences, warm grooves and contemporary dancefloor energy. She later expanded her production catalogue with her Memoir EP, including the track Pantelleria.

Her talent has taken her to some of the most respected festivals and dancefloors worldwide, including Dekmantel Selectors, Nuits Sonores, Melt Festival, Kala Festival, Polifonic, Lente Kabinet and Time Warp São Paulo.

Beyond her international performances, Bárbara is also dedicated to building musical communities. Through her own party concept, Bárbara Convida, she brings together artists and audiences who share her passion for musical discovery and dancefloor culture.

Expect an eclectic, joyful and deeply musical selection from an artist who knows how to turn a DJ set into an unforgettable journey.
