Leif Kaner-Lidström’s music has been described as a cinematic odyssey, rooted in classical form and melody while blending folk-like harmony, soulful rhythm, and intricate virtuosity. He is a member of the boundary-pushing Levitation Orchestra, exploring new frontiers in jazz through collective composition. He also co-founded Lordship Loft Recordings with South London producer Mom Tudie, through which he has released several albums. Alongside his jazz and contemporary work, Leif is an accomplished classical pianist, most recently releasing Swans with his cellist father on Hyperion Records and performing internationally. Under the alias Erik Sigurd, his solo piano music has amassed millions of streams worldwide.
