EDDIE DARK + JOCHEN K & JOHNNY W

Backline Presents:

EDDIE DARK (Darkwave/Post-Punk, Athens)

is the vampirik alter ego of multi-media artist Nikolas Petsitis. Entangling the sensual charisma of old school EBM with the melancholic aggression of the greek underground synth-punk scene, EDDIE DARK explores the weirder sides of electronic body music aided by hyper-energetic unpredictable live performances.

with support from:

JOCHEN K & JOHNNY W (Coldwave, Bern)

Born from diverse musical backgrounds and formed in 2022, Jochen K & Johnny W pursue a reinterpretation of a melancholic movement that emerged in the 80s and, beyond the horizon of the mainstream, never truly left the hearts of many. With their debut single, ‘Cold & Sober’, the duo presents a mix of post-punk beats and guitars paired with electronic soundscapes, musically and lyrically capturing the unbearable starkness of life.
